Mayweather Sr. Again Claims Jr. Will KO Pacman

Floyd Mayweather Sr. continues to talk trash against the Filipino superstar, Manny Pacuqiao.

"Pacquiao can't box. Freddie Roach didn't teach him anything… Shane Mosley is a tougher fight than Pacquiao. He [Pacquiao] didn't want to fight Shane Mosley. Floyd beat the [expletive] out of Shane Mosley. All he [Pacquiao] has to do is show up and Floyd will whoop his ass," Floyd Sr. said in a separate Boxing Scene.com report.

Floyd Sr. said the same thing while he was coaching Briton Ricky Hatton for a Pacquiao fight in 2009.

Pacquiao flattened Hatton in just 2 rounds.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who represents Pacquiao in negotiations with Mayweather’s camp, earlier disclosed that issues about the purse split and drug testing have already been ironed out.

He said all they need now is Floyd Jr.’s final approval, that is, if he really wants to fight Pacquiao.

“I am not going to talk about the specifics of the negotiations. You have my statement that there are no real issues that I can see, except whether he wants to fight now or later or not at all,” Arum told Yahoo! Sports.

Arum said that if Mayweather refuses to fight for a second time this year, the Pacquiao-Mayweather mega fight would be held on May 2011.

Arum also disclosed that issues about the purse split and drug testing have been ironed out.

“That’s all been resolved,” he stated. “I am not going to talk about the specifics of the negotiations. You have my statement that there are no real issues that I can see, except whether he wants to fight now or later or not at all.”
